The New Studio In Rice Lake WI
Thats Right I am opening up a studio!
This studio is about so much more than having a place to take pictures. It’s about creating a space where kids can play, families can make memories, and photography feels like an experience instead of something you have to sit still and smile through. Below, you can read about the vision for Tell Me a Story Photography—from our interactive experiences and inclusive space for children of all abilities, the ways we plan to give back, and what this studio will grow into over the next few years.
My Vision:
THE EXPERIENCE
Photography shouldn’t just be “stand here and smile.” I want kids and families to actually do something together. From making lemonade and picking apples to decorating cookies with Santa, every experience is designed to create real laughs, real reactions, and a memory that happened while we were taking the pictures.
A STUDIO FOR EVERY CHILD
I want this studio to be a place where every child is welcome—including children with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, and other disabilities or sensory needs. That means creating interactive ways to communicate, sensory-friendly options, patience, flexibility, and experiences where kids are allowed to be themselves.
HEIRLOOMS MADE HERE
The long-term vision goes beyond digital photos. I want to create meaningful products right inside the studio—from prints and custom gifts to engraved and resin heirlooms. The goal is to turn your photographs into something you can hold, display, gift, and eventually pass down.
GIVING BACK
I want this business to be part of the community that gives back. The vision includes helping seniors who otherwise couldn’t afford senior pictures, giving families rebuilding their lives access to photographs, and finding new ways to use the studio to serve people who could use a little extra kindness.
